Absolutely delicious. The curry fish, plantains, rice and beans were all fantastic. The Jamaica beverage is made in house and definitely worth it. Will return soon! Prepare to wait, but it’s worth it.

A wonderful experience I took out and reheated it at home and it was perfect. I missed Jamaican food so much and this hit the spot perfectly. My favourite was the patty.

I have been eating at Te Amo Jamaica many times. Absolutely hidden gem and the best Jamaican food in town, for those who are craving. Good vibe and reggae music as always. Try jerk chicken/ oxtail with rice and peas which are the popular ones (for they are often sold out). Beef patty is also a must try. Thanks and big shoutout to Ryan and Amoy!

Do not leave Mexico without stopping by here your taste buds and soul will thank you later. If you're a native there's no reason why this place is not on your regular visit list. The music encapsulates you into island culture, serving you the delicious taste of Jamaican culture, and customer service that makes you feel that one love Jamaicans pride themselves on. Absolutely such a wonderful experience.

Te Amo Jamaica is a great spot for a casual dinner with a warm, island vibe. The food was flavorful—especially the jerk chicken, which was tender and perfectly spiced. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The reggae music playing in the background added to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. A tasty and enjoyable experience overall!

Cozy little spot in Roma Norte serving some seriously legit Jamaican food. The beef patty was one of the best I’ve had—perfectly seasoned with a nice spicy kick. The jerk chicken was incredible too—crispy skin, juicy meat, packed with flavor. They let me sample the oxtail stew and it was fire—definitely getting that next time. The rose lemonade was super refreshing, and prices are very fair for the quality. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. Honestly, this place holds its own against the top Jamaican spots in NYC, DC, and Miami. Highly recommend.

I can’t stop coming back to Te Amo Jamaica! This spot is hands down the real deal when it comes to Jamaican food in Mexico City. I’m here at least once a week, and honestly, I’ve yet to try something I didn’t love. The oxtail? OMG. It’s tender, juicy, and absolutely perfect. The jerk wings are crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. And don’t even get me started on the patties; they’re flaky, packed with flavor, and downright mouthwatering. Oh, and the festivals? Little bites of sweet, doughy magic. Everything is fresh, everything is authentic, and it’s all SO good. The best part? The vibe here is unbeatable. It’s run by the sweetest couple who make you feel like you’re eating at their home. They’re super friendly and down to earth, which just adds to the experience. If you’re craving legit Jamaican food in CDMX, this is THE place. Amazing food, awesome service, and a vibe that makes you never want to leave. Trust me, you need Te Amo Jamaica in your life.

The only place in the city of Mexico that has Jamaican cuisine cooked by Jamaican nationals. The best oxtail outside of Jamaica in Mexico city. oxtail that slides off the bone able to be taken off with plastic fork if you dare challenge it. Jerk chicken with an extremely flavorful sauce. Rice and peas as if it was Sunday dinner every day of the week. It is Jamaica outside of Jamaica. It is a full rating of 10/10. If you want real food especially authentic from Jamaica this is the only one recommended today. There is also curry goat , the most delectable in the city, the meal is easily had even if you have dental cosmetics, the curry goat is soft right down to each bone that you may find.
